Prosthodontics

When the crown of the tooth is severely damaged or the enamel layer is affected, a dental crown can offer an effective solution. In such cases, the outer layer of enamel is gently reduced to make room for the crown material, which may be porcelain fused to metal or fully metal-free, such as zirconium dioxide. If there is a missing tooth, we can replace it with a dental bridge by preparing the adjacent teeth. These fixed restorations are crafted by our dental technician and securely cemented onto the prepared teeth.

If the shape, color, or surface of a tooth needs improvement, dental veneers may be recommended. With indirect veneers, a very thin layer — less than 1 mm — is removed from the enamel surface, carefully limiting the reduction to enamel only. The veneers, made by our dental technician, are then bonded to the tooth surface, resulting in a long-lasting and highly aesthetic restoration.
